JMM Audio
This site has several audio recordings of exhibits/items in the James Monroe Museum. The recordings are organized by what room of the museum the exhibit is in, and the recordings are either directly reading the text on the labels/walls or adapting information with input of curator Jarod Kearney. The tabs at the top of this page take you to each room of the museum, and the button below takes you to a page about the student creators of this project, which was for HIST428: Digital History

Our Mission
Create a more accessible experience through audio and transcription files, for patrons when they visit the museum.
Audio Files
As a group we worked on creating scripts and individually recording audio for the artifacts and information panels in the museum.
Transcription
Under all of our audio files in which we have scripts for we provide a transcription for patrons to read along with the audio recording.
QR Codes
The audio files will be accessed through QR codes located at the beginning of the corresponding rooms or paired with artifacts within in the museum.
